Our Story
Building Information Modelling Centre for Digital Innovations and Solutions (BIMCDIS) was established since July 2015 under the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. BIMCDIS is currently aiming to lead the development of BIM in Malaysia construction industry in the aspects of research, consultancy and training. The strength of our BIMCDIS lies on the existing resources within the faculty vis-a-vis Architecture, Quantity Surveying and Construction as well as other technical expertise in the areas of Computing, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
Our Facility
Quantity Surveying Computer Lab, a conducive training facility, is equipped with 51 high-end specifications computers and network ready providing software applications for construction industry, namely, AutoDesk© Master Suite, CostX© and Microsoft Project©
